Passionate about leveraging space data for positive impact, Roksana Sheikholmolouki serves as a Data Scientist within the Data and Emerging Technologies team of the Canadian Space Agency. As part of her role, she leads the technical efforts of the historical data restoration projects for Alouette and ISIS satellites. The Alouette team’s outstanding contributions led to their nomination for the Award of Excellence in 2024. Moreover, Roksana received a Director General Award from the Canadian Space Agency for her role in delivering Canada’s contributions to NASA Space Apps challenges. Roksana has represented the Canadian Space Agency at various events such as the Government of Canada’s annual Data Conference and the Federal Youth Network’s departmental showcase series.
Continuing her commitment to remote sensing applications for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Roksana is pursuing a Master of Science in Geomatics and Remote Sensing.
In her free time, Roksana actively promotes diversity and inclusion. She leads the Montreal and Youth Initiatives for Women in AI & Robotics. She also serves as the National Point of Contact for Canada at the Space Generation Advisory Council.
