Manal Siddiqui is a former Software Developer at ADGA Group Consultants for deep space technology, Medcoach. Her areas of focus as a developer revolve around space technology and machine learning. Manal is currently studying Computer Science at Carleton University. With a passion for operations, developing vision and technology, and finding creative solutions to solve challenges, she has pitched an Augmented Reality startup, Augmi Technologies, which helps companies shop with ease and discounted prices. This startup led her to win the SAP Innovation Award as well as the place first within the OMMIC pitching event held at the University of Ottawa. Having worked with Medcoach for an eight-month work term, Manal found the beauty within the space industry and discovered the endless possibilities this industry holds.

When she’s not working on the business, Manal can usually be found either playing sports, gaming or planning her next adventure to try out something new!

In the coming year, Manal is excited to have been selected as a fellow for the Zenith Pathways Fellowship as well as working at SkyWatch for the coming summer. Manal drives to change the space for Canadian women within the Space Industry. Manal would like to eventually work on developing antimatter propulsion and make it easier to integrate within rockets.
