Lisa Marie Vaccaro
Lisa-Marie Vaccaro is a Senior Science and Program Advisor at Environment and Climate Change Canada, working on projects and initiatives that contribute to the realization of the goals and objectives outlined in Canada’s Strategy for Satellite Earth Observations. These projects include advancing satellite Earth Observation (EO) missions of importance to Canada, whether at the initial development stage, planned and fully funded, or proposed for future implementation.
Lisa-Marie advises on long-term science planning and investments and carries out early outreach to identify and bridge stakeholders and partners and inform areas of engagement – all with a view to foster the uptake and application of EO data, including attracting and engaging emerging and non-traditional organizations and users, and strengthening and promoting cross-cutting science collaboration and excellence.
