Julie Claveau is an astrophysicist working as Program Scientist in Space Astronomy at the Canadian Space Agency. She works on Missions like the James Webb Space Telescope and AstroSat, in collaboration with other Space Agencies around the world. As an advocate for diversity and inclusion, she is also Co-Chair of CSA's Women in STEM committee. Her previous work experience is in satellite mission operations, project management and public administration. She is also a retired Canadian Naval Warfare Officer and a violin teacher. Her passion for space started at a young age, stargazing for hours, which then followed with a passion for the physics of space and our place in the universe.
