Apeksha Budhkar

Apeksha is a Software Engineer at Mission Control, where she designs and develops software for diverse applications including prototype rovers and robotic arms. While working at Mission Control, she supported operations for an analog field deployment in Iceland simulating NASA's Perseverance Rover mission.

She is also a current master's student in Aerospace Engineering at Carleton University in the Spacecraft Robotics and Control Lab. Her research focus is studying applications of AI-based computer vision for satellite autonomy.

Apeksha started her career in robotics while working as a Jr. Robotics Engineer at Provectus Robotics during her undergrad as a co-op. As an undergraduate student, she also co-founded and led her university's UGV design team to win first place in the National Student UGV Competition in 2019.
